So, who is loc’d by her?

My name is Amber Quinn and I’ve been in business for 15+ years starting off right in Baker, LA inside a small two bedroom apartment. Over time, Loc’d by her found its home in the heart of Baton Rouge, LA inside of William Cosey’s Barbershop located at 1640 Plank Road.

then and now

Starting off in a simple small room in the back of my father’s barbershop gave me the best opportunity to become the best loctician I can be for my clients. After heavy renovation, I have my own world and plenty of room to care for all of your hair needs.

  • Absolutely. Locs are not a permanent style and with conditioner and patience, Loc’d by Her can comb out your locs and complete the aftercare for your hair.

  • Absolutely! I encourage all of my clients to wash their hair regularly. Clean hair is healthy hair. After washing and while your hair is still wet, MOISTURIZE! Then, let your hair breath!

  • You should oil your locs at least 3 times a week. Dampen your hair with a little water, then add your oil to your scalp and locs. Dry locs don’t grow well. Locs that get oiled and are left to be free grow and flourish well.
